Condition assessment and monitoring – Quay 4, Port of Oxelösund
Quay 4 in the Port of Oxelösund, built in 1939, showed severe damage in the form of corrosion, cracks and erosion. Invator carried out a comprehensive condition assessment and installed an advanced SHM system to analyze the actual behavior of the quay and identify loss of stiffness.

Condition assessment of railway bridge in Abiskojåkka, Abisko
The Abiskojåkka railway bridge, a key link on the Kiruna-Narvik Ore Line, showed signs of cracking along the tension cables. To understand the extent and cause, Invator carried out an advanced condition assessment using ultrasound, geo-radar and long-term wireless measurement. The results showed that the bridge has a stable behavior, but with a need for continued follow-up and in-depth analysis of the tensioning system.

Condition assessment and proposed measures – Culvert and floor slab, Valdemarsvik
The culvert under the boiler plant in Valdemarsvik showed extensive cracks and corrosion, especially under the boilers where the load is highest. Invator carried out a detailed condition assessment using LIDAR, geo-radar, ultrasound and numerical analysis, which showed that parts of the reinforcement were depleted and that the structure did not meet safety requirements. The results formed the basis for emergency strengthening measures and long-term repair proposals.

Inspection of tension cables and cracking in Frövibron
At the bridge over the Fröviforsån river, Invator carried out an advanced survey of cracks and tension cables after horizontal cracks were observed in the post-tensioned beams. The investigation showed that the damage was mainly caused by thermal stresses and small cover layers - but that the structure retains its global stiffness and function.

Condition assessment of pools and water tanks – Leksand Sommarland
At Leksand Sommarland, Invator carried out a comprehensive condition assessment of the pool and rafting facilities following extensive cracks, voids and leaks. The results showed that several structures had reached their technical lifespan - and provided a clear basis for repairs and new construction.

Non-destructive testing and condition assessment of the Alnö Bridge
In the condition assessment of the Alnö Bridge, Invator and Norconsult combined advanced drone technology with non-destructive testing to identify corrosion and grouting deficiencies. The results showed localized damage in the range 6-8, while the majority of the tension reinforcement was intact - an important basis for future repairs.

Non-destructive testing and inspection of tension cables – Ölandsbron
For the condition assessment of the Ölandsbron, Invator focused on a span with previous corrosion damage. GPR, ultrasonic tomography and verification drilling confirmed the good condition of the tension cables - no voids, corrosion or elevated chloride levels were found.

Special inspection of tension cables in Måløybrua, Norway
Following suspicions of inadequate grouting of tension cables in the Måløy Bridge, a special inspection was carried out to map the position and status of the cables. The investigation showed that one channel was completely empty with corroded wires, while the others had minor voids and separations.

Condition assessment of concrete bridge in Kalix
When the Kalix Bridge was about to be demolished, Invator and Luleå University of Technology took the opportunity to use it as a test bed for future bridge technology. Through advanced load testing, digital twins and non-destructive testing, the researchers were able to map real load-bearing capacity, identify damage and develop methods that can extend the life of Sweden's bridges.
